but you know Gaga is the one deciding....and she doesn't always listen to fans, it could be anything, plus the label may nix the winners anyway... :derpga:

Blurred Lines had more of that "bop" appeal, nobody really is listening for the lyrics. Sex Dreams would be seen has a s-xual song and radio would be afraid to play it, just saying.

Blurred Lines is way way way more radio friendly than s-x dreams.

you guys c'mon we need MANiCURE as the 2nd single , we cant take risks ok I know you love Sexdreams trust me I love it loads as well but we need to hype ARTPOP we need them radio plays, you all know that MANiCURE is the most commercial and would do the best hello even ADELE liked that song she referred to it as the best, she's a musician were just fans so that is another reason why we need MANiCURE if I vote for Sexdreams that would be sort of selfish cause it might not do so good as a 2nd single, Applause wasn't a Bad Romance you know , you talk as if Sexdreams gonna be that song that goes #1 everywhere ok MANiCURE is basic, but if it will help boost interest in ARTPOP its called doing Gaga a Favor, those of you who voted for Sexdreams if it flops you'll be held responsible, will you be able to live with such guilt , those who want Sexdreams as single are the same people who wanted HML and GH as singles, I mean yes those songs are epic but they do hurt gaga's career if they become singles, singles are serious matter its not just a music video we get, the GP judges an album based on the first two singles or so, they wont even bother listening to the album, Gaga's generous enough to make us have a say in this cause she don't care about single success but I love seeing mother monster slay from every perspective, you all know her label wants us to pick MANiCURE, Sexdreams can wait tbh

THIS, many times over...i totally understand and agree, great argument :golfclap:

I don't think Sex Dreams would be censored that much, if at all. Like many have said: Blurred Lines, which even if it is done in a different way, is very clearly about s-x, plus it's excessive radio play promotes a video that is definitely explicit. Also many other songs are about s-x and don't get censored: S&M, Whistle by Flo Rida, Get Lucky, Rude Boy and MANY others. Radio 1 in the UK are currently playing a song called 'Sex' by the 1975 so I don't think it's that big of a deal. Plus Radio consistently play songs about d--gs and getting high, the lyrics of which are not metaphorical or well hidden, and d--gs are illegal, whether they're a big part of culture or not.

If Sex Dreams was censored it would be a JOKE and a complete double standard I think. I don't even find Sex Dreams that explicit, although they will perhaps blank out "I touch myself". However, it might end up playing in it's favour, it might pique people's interest to hear the full song and then when they do they'll inevitably be slayed by it. I'd still rather it wasn't though

Willy Wonka

Robin Thicke's delivery is different and plus that's the album version, not the radio one he does not say ****. And still Sex Dreams is much rauncher. I doubt it will get played unless it's heavily edited, but I love the song though.

Sex Dreams is raunchier than Blurred Lines? One of the lines is about how his dick is big enough to split her ass in two, but Sex Dreams is raunchier?

:laughga:

Also Whistle by Flo Rida, and Lollipop by Lil Wayne were hits too.

A lot of songs about SEX are big hits, probably because it's such a relatable topic because EVERYONE has s-x at some point in their life..

but the word 's-x' is prominently in the chorus in 's-x dreams,' it will have to be bleeped out on some radio stations..what's the point if you can't even hear it? what would an edited version be? 'love dreams?' :laughga:

MANiCURE will be chosen if interscope wants to focus on heavy radio play leading up to the album release.
