If she didnt hype it as a potential lead single and if the word "s-x" wasnt in the title, nobody would care for that song. America would not love it as displayed by their less than stellar reactions to the demo leak. She was critically panned and labeled an ignorant. Yeah its catchy and her delivery was good but she killed it with her shallow attempt at grasping for controversy. Its s-xual lyrics take a backseat to the chilled out synths and her vocals. Its a good track and exactly what I wanted from her. With Swine I can't tell how I feel about it, I need to hear the polished track because the live version was kind of a mess. And I don't want to hear Aura on the radio either. I like the song, but soooo not a single. It's not interesting enough. As for Sex Dreams not be controversial. It kind of is. The reason being, it's not subtle. This isn't some "read between the lines" kind of song. And for that reason, people will be flailing around calling her every foul name from A to Z. Why? Cause once again, people love to hate Lady Gaga. And if she's throwing songs about wet dreams and masturbation at them, it's kind of like handing the mad man a gun. It's sad, but true. I'd love to hear Sex Dreams on the radio. But I really really don't see that happening. You're really overestimating how controversial it would be. Sex is hardly controversial anymore. I'd be happy with either one. However I picked MANiCURE because its an anthem, and the one song that I'm compelled to sing in the shower. Who isn't enthralled to sing "HHHHHEEEEALLLL ME BECAUSE IM ADDICTED TO LOVE". It's the hit she needs, and the production is so radio friendly! I can't believe its losing. The electro breakdown didnt hit as hard as say Aura for example, which was ruined by her shallow attempt at creating controversy with the burqa reference so it doesnt even matter.
