000 0
jesus christ... Gaga please dont do it :( Its gonna flop harder than MTN, bookmark this post. No Aura would flop harder. Her white savior anthem that would offend a mountain of people and get no radio play is literally the worst possibly choice as a single yet for some reason you're endorsing it whole heartedly. Mama Ru 994
I blame Gaga. It really is her fault, tbh. First she goes and flaunts a bunch of amazing songs. Then she goes and says "Pick one, b---hes." Little Monsters -> Lady Gaga -> Well played, Lady G. Well played. Lol, she can be so cruel. Mason: That's actually what saddens me... XD ... I mean: you said you loved "Marry The Night", yet you thought it shouldn't had been a single... why? because it'd underperform as it did? I LOVE "Marry The Night", and I knew from the very beginning that it wouldn't do that great on Billboard, mainly because it was too different to what's trending now, it was not that catchy, and the tone of the lyrics were kinda dark. It's a "loser" song, not everyone was going to like it (that goes all songs, I know, but you get what I mean), yet I was SO HAPPY that "Marry The Night" was a single :-D . Cause it's a beautiful tune, and we got a very emotional, artistic video out of it!! I was delighted tbh. The OH SO SACRED "GP" didn't felt the song that much, SO? big deal, I mean: who cares? is not like I can only enjoy a piece if hordes of people are praising it :-P . I think it's sad that you only want to choose the next single based on it's commercial potential, instead of simply picking the one you enjoyed the most. I'm obsessed with "Aura", I think it's an incredibly fun, daring, risky track, that's so weird, and so Gaga... will it get her the #1 spot? surely not, the audience in general will never digest such a track, and I couldn't care less, I mean: since when we are supposed to set our preferences based ONLY on what the majority thinks? Anyways, I respect everyone's opinions ;-) . I think the next single will be "MANiCURE", and I'm ok with it, it's a really fun, catchy song :-) This times 1000. I'm still happy MTN was a single. So what if it flopped? It was an important, meaningful song to Gaga and it led to an epic (if occasionally messy) video and some of her best live performances of the era. I understand people wanting Gaga to have a great career, but a flop or two won't ruin her career and no one besides us will even remember what flopped and what didn't in 10 years. Look at Britney and Rihanna's discographies. Plenty of flops and they have had amazing careers. How many people even realize that Britney's incredibly popular third album produced precisely ZERO top ten hits in the US and that it's biggest US hit I'm A Slave 4 U was the only single top even reach the top 40 and peaked at 27? She was at the peak of her career and didn't become irrelevant just because of poor single charting. Welcome to GGD by the way! Aura's not even about Muslim's though It only makes small references to Burqas now. It's not nearly as much of a liability single-wise as it would have been with Burqa as the title. At least its a bop and iinteresting sony, not that overs-xed piece of crap. And america would love it, you know that. If she didnt hype it as a potential lead single and if the word "s-x" wasnt in the title, nobody would care for that song.
Bebe 16,989
Yeah, but we're talking about Lady Gaga here. People have hate boners for this chick and are especially hard on her whenever she does something that is risque.Just look at Judas. There were radio stations refusing to play the song for crying out loud. And I agree with you. I really do. Personally, I don't find the song to be too s-xual for the radio. But again, it's Gaga. If she says anything "risque" the prudes all come crawling out of the wood work. You are right, guys radio didn't play an industrial song with screeching/screaming vocals released the week of Easter with lyrics professing love to the person who (biblically) betrayed and basically killed the messiah of a major religion (of which the majority of the US belongs too). Why would they play a sleek, s-xy catchy pop song? If Sex Dreams doesn't get radio back on her side nothing will.

I think that if Aura IS the Telephone continuation, she should save it for the last single. It'll get help from the hype of it being the Telephone continuation and that may help it to succeed commercially. Stop me if I sound like an idiot, lol. Iswear to god, this era better not end prematurely like BTW, I want a bunch of music videos. And I ain't here for no Edge of Glory 2.0 video either. DanceInTheFlames 154
I'd be down for any but MANiCURE. Just don't feel that one would be as strong of a single as the other 3.

Ricochetmatt 0
You really can't compare it to Judas. The only song that can be compared to Judas within the options is Aura and for whatever reason a lot of you are more than on board for that trash yet its literally the one single that would be the most hated on and the most vainly controversial. Sex Dreams is not controversial, idk why so many of you are making it out in your heads that it would be. Yes people have it out for Gaga but of the options this is the most mature sounding and the most polished. Last era cheekily immature songs like Hair and Bad Kids were constantly put to the forefront and I feel like MANiCURE just goes in line with a similar kind of attitude. Sex Dreams is a different attitude that hasnt been put forth by her commercially in quite some time if at all. First of all (just so you know) I am totally not on board with the MANiCURE train. I'm all about Swine. And I don't want to hear Aura on the radio either. I like the song, but soooo not a single. It's not interesting enough. As for Sex Dreams not be controversial. It kind of is. The reason being, it's not subtle. This isn't some "read between the lines" kind of song. And for that reason, people will be flailing around calling her every foul name from A to Z. Why? Cause once again, people love to hate Lady Gaga. And if she's throwing songs about wet dreams and masturbation at them, it's kind of like handing the mad man a gun. It's sad, but true. I'd love to hear Sex Dreams on the radio. But I really really don't see that happening.
Kermit the frog 1,895
Let alone those awful justify my... I mean, s-x dreams lyrics. That chorus is just so lucklustre, it's not your anthemic gaga chorus and its not rly memorable.
