'Nasty' literally destroyed her career which sucks. I know it was horrible but she has released some absolute pop gems (hello Mama Do + All About Tonight), so I don't really know why the public have wrote her off because of this one single :/

Yeah she has at least 2 other songs on her album that would have done much better as the lead (Champion + Heart Cry), i wish she never recorded Nasty, LMD although really good wasnt a good choice for 2nd single either, but i think if radios had given it a chance it could have gone at least top 40 which is a shame

Cher Lloyd debuts at #21 despite a pre-order lasting over 3 months. No sign of what its numbers were, but considering albums over a year old were above it, It was probably less than 20,000. Worst decision for her career to station her in the US for so long and not come back to the UK once. And they kept on pushing her to be a big success over there even though it was obvious she wasn't going to happen. We've seen all manner of US launch strategies with other XF acts with the likes of Leona, 1D and Olly with varying degrees of success, but Cher's launch was by far the worst. Whose idea was it to send her to America and then just keep her there, abandoning her fanbase in the UK, which was her biggest (and only) fanbase who had given her a #1 and a top ten? And delay her album by 2 months in the UK and do no promo prior to its release in that time? I have never before seen an artist who made their home country wait for an album that the rest of the world got 2 months ago. I'm not even a Cher fan, but even I have to admit her situation is out of order.

 

By the way, does anyone know when This Is How We Do is released here? The same time as the US or what?

Cher Lloyd is the greatest flop of all time anyway, no wonder she abandoned the UK. She is hated here... staying in the US was probably a good move.

Omg the saturdays have revived me. I havent liked one of there songs in ages but they just released one to be streamed called "808" I think its soo good. Better than the messy what are you waiting for. They should have released 808 instead
