So glad to come back from my holiday to see that a remix was released and it's doing amazingly! If the song re-peaks despite it not even having a video...awesome doesn't even begin to cover it. I wish that this video would just hurry up. It's doing so well worldwide and is now in a position to do really well. It's amazing that it's still rising after all this time - it proves it's a good song, has longevity and the public truly like it. It sets her up really well for her next single. Gaga needs to do more remixes as moments like this could really prove fruitful.

Well the 3rd singles are normally Gaga's last top 10's of her each eras..

JD - PF - PP = Top 10 - Lovegame - TOP 20

BR - TELEPHONE - ALEJANDRO TOP 10

BTW - JUDAS - TEOG = TOP 10 - Y&I MTN = TOP 30 AND TOP 20

APPLAUSE DWUW TOP 10... Then heres my problem.. i dont think Venus will get top 10 here at all...

Then normally Gaga's 4th singles don't do as well and go outside top 10 and top 20 so if Gypsy and G.U.Y do become singles or atleast one of them...there gonna pea outside of the top 10 or 20 probably..

I know it's normal for 4th singles to do that but how good would it be to get a 4th Gaga single top 10? :D

So basically what im trying to say is...do you think Dwuw was her last top 10 with ARTPOP?

Not necessarily. Multiple top 10's usually come from albums that aren't amazing sellers, like ARTPOP currently is. Bestselling albums tend not to have successful singles as people just buy the entire album. But albums that have lesser numbers tend to have successful single after successful single. I think this is the reason why Calvin Harris set that record for the most top 10's from one album - most of his sales come from singles. If Gaga continues to release public friendly tunes, she could definitely get more top 10's with ARTPOP. Her top 10's trailed off post-TEOG because everyone who was interested in her music had already bought the entire album. But it looks like ARTPOP's more of a slow burner. In the long run, this status is better for longevity. DWUW's getting more and more people to come around to Gaga again and the album's rising again. This can only be a good sign.

I hate how quickly Radio One dropped the song, even though it's flogging a dead horse like unconditionally

wasn't DWUW still top 10 on iTunes when they dropped it? it's ridiculous

Yeah it was actually pretty high if I remember.

It seems like they always A-List her songs cos they feel like they're obliged to because she's young and popular, but they don't keep her there for like... more than a month. Yet I remember when they had that Coldplay song Atlas on the A-List for literally like three months and it was doing NOTHING on iTunes  Gaga wasn't lying when she said radio is always a struggle for her. I don't even know why. Applause and DWUW are very radio friendly, especially in comparison to the BTW singles.

I guess other radio stations are doing a bit more, though. It's still at #15 on airplay today. But Roar is #3 and Unconditionally #6 :smh: Even though Roar is #26 and Unconditionally #39 on iTunes. The highest version of DWUW is #15 iTunes. Sayin nothin  :coffee:

At least when US radio supports her people buy the songs.

It's like they have some scrip - "this is Katy's year, let's make her happen in UK."

Good to see DWUW growing steadily all day. Still at #9 combined, I really really really would love to see it get another week in the top ten. Then maybe when the video drops it could perhaps get a new peak.

It's so obvious that people love this song. It's such a shame it couldn't get the treatment it deserves but I guess from what Gaga saying it just wasn't possible :/

Yeah you can tell they tried it. Just like Gaga owned late 2009-2010, then Rihanna, then Adele... They tried to make this Katy's 'time' and while Prism has done well here and Roar was a total smash... It hasn't really worked out since.
