Radio both in the US and the UK is determined to shove Katy down our throats. But, as sales and charts positions of Unconditionally show, understandably, we're finally beginning to show signs of being more than a bit miffed with this strategy. Katy has likely been A listed in anticipation of her upcoming XF final performance in a last ditch attempt to make the song a hit because, you know, she's Katy Perry, and the quality of the song is irrelevant because she's nothing but a hit machine, so she needs those sales. Gaga isn't favoured on radio anymore because she's had her peak. If DWUW was released back then, it would probably still be A listed. Of course, if anyone else that isn't Gaga is doing well in the charts, they'll remain on the A list. But because it's Gaga doing well and radio doesn't seem to want her anymore, she isn't allowed any extra support. And then the haters have the cheek to laugh at Gaga for flopping, when in reality, the only reason their faves do well is because they actually get fair and balanced promotion.

Totally agree with this, dropping DWUW from A list is just about ridiculous!

Celine's new album charting better than ARTPOP in the UK :rip:

Well at least she's charting decently there. She's number 239 in my country...As I Am an album by Alisha keys from like 5 years ago is charting better :messga:

DWUW is stable in the UK, can't wait to see how the video helps

Hey Brother has risen to 4 on itunes.

I fully expect it to go 2-1 next week.

Rihanna What Now has recently got a rush and it's broke top 20.

Expect it to be A-listed soon and probably break top 5.

I don't think it can work... The video is out, the promo is gone, and the only thing left is the radio... I don't think it's enough tho, it's a hard competition in the TOP 10..
