I'm expecting it focused on vocals, but not oversinging the song

Why on earth is Unconditionally in the A List? :smh:

so stupid, a song that isn't even in the top 20 being added whilst a top 10 song being dropped.

Radio both in the US and the UK is determined to shove Katy down our throats. But, as sales and charts positions of Unconditionally show, understandably, we're finally beginning to show signs of being more than a bit miffed with this strategy. Katy has likely been A listed in anticipation of her upcoming XF final performance in a last ditch attempt to make the song a hit because, you know, she's Katy Perry, and the quality of the song is irrelevant because she's nothing but a hit machine, so she needs those sales. Gaga isn't favoured on radio anymore because she's had her peak. If DWUW was released back then, it would probably still be A listed. Of course, if anyone else that isn't Gaga is doing well in the charts, they'll remain on the A list. But because it's Gaga doing well and radio doesn't seem to want her anymore, she isn't allowed any extra support. And then the haters have the cheek to laugh at Gaga for flopping, when in reality, the only reason their faves do well is because they actually get fair and balanced promotion.

Arturo

Simply based on circumstances as of now, I think Do What U Want will also only be a Silver single in the U.K :/

That's not BAD but I really wanted Gold!

I feel like as each day goes by without the video release we are having potential wasted. This song could be huge with the right plan but they've managed to screw it up again :(

I mean the fact it is still in the top ten is testament to how good the song is really. It can only hang on for so long. Videos are really important for any song - especially Gaga. People need to see her.

And cos the Alan Carr performance is acoustic I don't think it's gonna help all that much tbh...
