Avicii is closing fast :ohno:

And if you combine both of the versions of Gary Barlow's track, he is almost level with 1D :eww:

The Killers, Tom Odell, Gary Barlow, Sir Elton John, Katy Perry and One Direction have been confirmed as the artists that will perform on The X Factor final.

Sigh.

James Arthur's damage control may well be the most awkward moment in XF history. I was really surprised the incident was even brought up at all, and it would all just be conveniently sweeped under the carpet like XF discrepancies usually are. And Simon's going to do his nut about Tamera going. It's well known that she was his favourite and he was likely encouraging the judges to say positive things about her. He seems to be completely oblivious to how the public can't warm to law-breakers and trouble-makers. Mark my words, Sam Bailey will start to get bad song choices from here on out. No way is Syco going to want to even try to market her to the youth demographic.

Going so well until we got to Katy. This so isn't fair. I bet Gaga wouldn't have had that chance if her second single was flopping just as hard. But, oh, well, at least Rihanna isn't the only non XF act that gets favouritism now. Katy could scrape a top ten out of this but she won't have a chance of #1. As it's the final, the winner's single (and dual charity single) will be in pole position, Somewhere Only We Know will still be kicking about and 1D will rise again. It's like Katy was scheduled specifically to avoid #1 but still claw back some success. It'll be interesting to see if promo really helps the song, though. It's not like it's flopping because the public is unaware of its existance. Everyone knows when a KP single is out, the video's been out for over a week and apparently, Capital radio's been spinning it like crazy, so my conclusion is that, just like the rest of the world, the UK public simply doesn't like it. Therefore, promotion isn't going to help much. By the time she sings it, her album will have been out for 3 months and more people might just buy that instead of the single as it's nearly Christmas. Prism is already over the bulk of its sales and is already flagging at single #2, so there's not much to sell now. I don't see any of her future singles giving the album any mileage.

What was the incident that damaged him?

What was the incident that damaged him?

A rapper called Mickey Worthless made a rap mocking James for being an X Factor puppet. James responded with his own rap on BBC Radio 1 and one of the insults he made was "f*****g queer" and made said really s-xually explicit stuff about Rita Ora and Iggy Azalea (though this part was barely reported on). His fans started flooding his Twitter with messages like "it's not too late to get a refund on the album." His fellow X Factor contestant, Lucy Spraggan (herself a lesbian), also made a text conversation with them public where he said that the only reason she was hating him for what he said was because she was a gay rights activist. The entire incident caused James's upcoming public appearances to be cancelled while the whole thing blew over. In addition to this, his Twitter exploits were many and varied. He was boasting about how many pre-orders of his album was selling, saying that 1D were a manufactured product and was getting into a war of words with comedian Frankie Boyle. His twitter is now handled by his management. Basically, the future doesn't look too bright for him. He's one of many who let fame go right to his head and ruined his career before it even got started.

Hopefully he won't be able to claw his way back to success, X factor/ Sony music and Syco should stick to what they are good at and stop trying to appeal to other markets. nobody wants a manufactured folk singer or a plastic "rock star".  :manicure:

Mess. Can she at least do anther TV performance while there... Grr

she'll do Allan Carr performance tho! I think that's enough, but the X Factor finale would be the best choice!
