I can't even begin to imagine what her next era's going to be like, if this is how she's performing with her follow-up to her biggest success. To say this is her BTW era is partly true, but partly inaccurate, as BTW was so much more successful sales-wise with nearly 1 million sold in the UK whereas Prism's barely hit platinum status and she's currently 5 singles down, has used up all her big UK promo spots and completed her UK tour months ago. What has really been the cherry on the cake is that TIHWD has so far peaked at #29 in the US - the same position as MTN, which was, like TIHWD, also the album's fifth single. But, as I stated before, I doubt Capitol are going to cut their losses like Interscope did with BTW after MTN. I'm calling it that we'll get another 2 singles from Prism. Legendary Lovers (Katy did claim it would be a single at some point) and something else, possibly Double Rainbow. Bookmark me. I don't know where that rumour started, but there's been no evidence of it. I'm sure it was confirmed by Katy that LL was going to be a single eventually, so there is going to be a sixth single. But I think the album's just so devoid of life now that there's no point in re-releasing it. I know that used to be the entire point of re-releases: to revitalise a dead album, but that's not how it is anymore. Re-releasing's only acceptable if the album has been a massive success and Prism hasn't bar 2 singles. Re-releasing two consecutive albums is annoying to the fans who bought the originals of each album (ask any Ellie Goulding fan) and is usually regarded as a desperate move as it's something that should only be attempted once. Even Rihanna's only had one re-release despite Loud having the potential to be more. Plus, there'll be no room for her to promote as she'll be on tour. She re-released TD at the tail-end of her California Dreams tour, which was a big mistake as she could have milked the success of the new singles into new tour dates. I think if something as generic, commercial and remix-subsidised like TIHWD flopped worldwide, then there's not much more that can be gained from a re-release.
