Harry 26,836
No they shouldn't do that... Let the song grow, that would only cut out potential sales. After the DWUW fiasco I don't think there's any use in trying anything special incase it backfires. Just do it the traditional way. I don't think it's gonna go top ten or anything anyway, I just want it to help the album.

CalumGaGa 0
Little bit of chart nostalgia here but it was 5 years ago today that pokerface climbed to number 1 on the official charts here in the UK. I remember following its chart run as those were the days that I used to listen to the top 40 chart on a weekly basis. It went something like 30-28-24-15-3-3-4-1-1-1, I remember the week where it fell to #4 and was devastated that it might start falling then of course it climbed to the top spot. Ahh the memories :gaga:
Harry 26,836
G.U.Y #195 United Kingdom ARTPOP #165 United Kingdom Top 200 before US, slay on brothers and sisters 193. Lady Gaga - G.U.Y. (+2) 158. Lady Gaga - ARTPOP (+7) Hopefully more people will buy it physically too. I wonder if it will be added to R1 playlist and TV stations this week... The glory days Nah it's not impacting until the middle of May so R1 won't add it until the middle/latter end of April :(

Post-album release dates for singles don't really mean anything, especially when Radio 1, as we know too well, add and drop songs whenever they please. I struggle to believe the label would wait almost two months to send it to radio following the video after Gaga has been absent from the charts for so many months. Nah I asked Popjustice and they confirmed it's the UK impact date The best example is Bey's Drunk In Love. Its been doing well on itunes for ages now but R1 literally only added it to their playlist last week because its impact date was never until April 14th

And if it is a similar case it doesn't mean radio won't touch it until the middle of May since April 14th is three weeks away..
Jase 13,065
Why would they d that though? Is it a good move? Because her record label are silly lol Nope, it isn't. The video effect will start dying down and she won't have radio support to help support her/boost her up. She'll just freefall That's totally bizarre and I hope it's incorrect. And if it is a similar case it doesn't mean radio won't touch it until the middle of May since April 14th is three weeks away.. No, Radio 1 probably won't touch it until the middle of April considering the impact date isn't until May 12th

I just hope it is a plan.
