Full price physical copies in HMV can't live up to the amazing deals you get in supermarkets, online shopping and purchasing digitally these days. Selling physicals really cheap can look really desperate and tends to be a sign that the retailer just wants them taken off their hands so badly that they don't care how much money they lose out on. At the end of last year, HMV were selling an entire rack of Tulisa's Female Boss album with the offer of 3 copies for £5. And yes, you did read that correctly. As if someone has 2 or 3 Tulisa fans in their lives! What's worse is that the rack was completely undisturbed. No matter how bad things get, at least we're not at that level.
