Sam Bailey's really getting a shocking amount of red updates for a song that's an XF winner's single and a charity single in one. Reports are saying that it only sold around 67,000 in the first three days. If she hasn't got another 33k by Sunday to hit the six figure sales mark (which is looking increasingly likely), this is going to get really embarassing. The lowest selling winners single was Steve Brookstein's. I can't find the total sales figures to date, but it debuted with 127,701 and it wasn't even a charity single. If Sam doesn't equal or beat that total despite money from the single going to two charities...What's worse is that she directly follows James Arthur's winner's single, and that was the fastest selling single in XF history and the biggest selling winners single of all time. We go wild for charity singles in the UK, especially if it's for children's charities and Skyscraper is benefitting two kids charities. Knowing that this isn't enough to make people buy it during the Christmas season of all times, is worrying.

They made a bad single choice: "Having a 36 year old ex prison guard made up like Adele covering a Disney Demi tune is part of the problem." And the song was exposed to X Factor audience and made top 10 just a couple months ago.

Is it Simon or her mentor Sharon that picked the single?

How come she is out of top 25 on the midweek's chart when it never left top 20? I understand if some lower songs have 2 versions so combined they are above Gaga, but its not like 7 songs have more versions :wtf:

Itunes doesn't rule the charts in the UK, Many buy music from other places.

Yes, and there might be some special Xmas physical singles. That's what keep Lily #1 last week.
