Sexxx 5,544
Thank god that 1D promo single got pushed off. It fell off the top spot faster than ARTPOP's promo singles didn't it?
Blues 0
Thank god that 1D promo single got pushed off. It fell off the top spot faster than ARTPOP's promo singles didn't it? Only DWUW got to #1 and it was there for about as long as 1D. Venus peaked at #2 Dope #4.
Jase 13,125
Apparently Gaga's down to #08 in the albums chart.
Magoo 6
Thank god that 1D promo single got pushed off. It fell off the top spot faster than ARTPOP's promo singles didn't it? It's evidently much less popular to pre-order on itunes in the UK than in the US (both for 1D and Gaga). Presumably albums are still 80% physical copies here but they're becoming <50% physical in the US. Apparently Gaga's down to #08 in the albums chart. Most sales will be physical copies though. Blues 0
But wht does itunescharts.net say DWUW peaked at #2. I saw it 31 too. But :/ It had probably dropped to #2 when itunescharts.net updated. You can look at Kworb's archives to see it was #1 on October 22nd. http://kworb.net/popuk/archive/

comrade 33
It's evidently much less popular to pre-order on itunes in the UK than in the US (both for 1D and Gaga). Presumably albums are still 80% physical copies here but they're becoming <50% physical in the US. Most sales will be physical copies though. Last year physical albums accounted for 59 % of the total album sales in the UK, the similar figure in the US was 43 %. And that was last year, so the sales share of physical albums is by now already a lot smaller.

I meant for the total sales so far of the song, not if all the sales from the last weeks would be counted in it's first official charting week ;)
