So Celine narrowed the 16k gap on Thursday to 13k at week's end, but was still passed by Eminem. That means ARTPOP will have trouble beating Celine as well as Em this week.

Plus there is Jake Bugg and Robbie Williams. One of them will probably get number one. Gaga might drop down quite a bit even if the sales are good.

i know it's gonna look a bit fishy with me saying this with an avatar of pink, but if ARTPOP could pull in TTAL numbers both worldwide (over 5 million) and in the UK (about 780,000), do you guys think that would be ok? do you think it's actually achievable?

Who knows, Pink has always been a big seller. She doesn't get hyped as much as other artists but she is usually out selling them. TBH I thought TTAL was her worst album to date, so cheesy for her. I do like some of the songs but it was a shock.

But anyway I really have no Idea atm. if she somehow gets a big number one hit or singles that do about as well as Applause she could have Longevity. On the other hand ARTPOP could drop off the charts never to be seen again :/

I dunno what the GP opinion is like because the Haters shout too loud about how nobody likes her. I don't believe them but then I dunno allot of my friends don't like her.

Oh and if it did get those numbers than Gaga would be fine. Album sales are down and i don't see Katy or Miley getting to that. But then we underestimated Katy before idk.

Do we know of the past weeks sales of DWUW were officially counted for the total sales of the song ?

I don't think they were otherwise it would have been like number one wouldn't it?

Someone commented at UK Mix:

If you take away the pre-order copies of Garrix single he would have been nowhere near the top spot.

It's funny that the OCC adds 5 weeks of pre-order sales to Garrix's total, but adds none of the sales that were disqualified from Lady GaGa's tracks

51 and still selling 8k is great  :applause:

And re; her having an era like P!nk I could see it happening, Do What U Want could be her JGMAR, both collabs, both very radio friendly, with a good follow up single choices I think 5 million would be pretty achievable

Honestly, I'll be fine with end sales of 600,000 in the U.K.
We just need the video to keep DWUW afloat

And have A-List spins kicked in yet?

What's with this Diana song? I see no evidence of it being an official single. Why is it slaying the charts worldwide? If it's just a promo single, it's one hell of a choice.

14. Lady Gaga - Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly) (+2)

Slay them all Gaga

Bit more of a climb now until #13 however, but she should still keep doing well. A-List effect :applause: Hopefully that 1D song ****s off sharpish.
