J U D A S 5
Anyone who says Applause is done for is out of their mind. The VMAs haven't even happened yet. The only reason why some of you think that is because of Roar's massive success, which is just ridiculous. Like someone said a bit back, you have to keep in mind that Katy's last era was full of #1s and Gaga's last era wasn't taken in as well by the general public. Gaga has to recover, and she's doing wonderful getting back on her pop platform so far. And Applause is getting great radio updates so obviously people are enjoying it on the radio I'm sure the VMAs will push it further up iTunes, everyone watches the opening. I couldn't agree more
Ethan 2,051
Roar isn't doing so hot on the itunes charts anymore so nice Obviously I'm kidding, but it's random boost on iTunes Charts is weird?? Edited August 25, 2013 by Ethan
Lady 748
Roar isn't doing so hot on the itunes charts anymore so nice Well, it actually is. Climbing extremely fast after it got deleted off itunes for some time. Should be back at #1 quite soon.
Muh 144
I know it's good news but I don't quite understand all this radio stuff. What is radio spins and impressions and ratio? Can someone explain?
melodichard 3,769
If Applause was deleted it would just disappear lol

Mister G 10,422
roar is boring and if I wanna listen to an anthem I listen to BTW or Hair edit: even MTN ****s on roar That's what I never understood. People are drooling over Katy Perry being preachy and having this song for self-empowerment but when Gaga did it with Born This Way everyone went bat s*** crazy and turned on her. A mess. Ethan 2,051
Something to do with her album pre-order So she essentially took the direction Gaga went? It's not a bad plan, I don't blame her
Didymus 34,379
No, Gaga wrote an empowerment song that used the words "gay", "transgender", "chola", "bullied",... To a lot of people it felt like Gaga was only talking about her creepy gay fanbase, instead of making a general statement for expressive freedom. That's what I never understood. pkxd 264
No, Gaga wrote an empowerment song that used the words "gay", "transgender", "chola", "bullied",... To a lot of people it felt like Gaga was only talking about her creepy gay fanbase, instead of making a general statement for expressive freedom. That's because she said the words "gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered" The general public thinks only straight people should be empowered. Those rich religious people didn't want to buy BTW, but Katy's song is okay for them!
Dylangaga 216
id rather have a song I love (applause) than a basic and generic rip off of someone elses work who just released that song recently...
Miky 9,487
Roar is higher than Applause again... I really don't understand how can people love the song so much. It is boring, admit it... Too many people here with moral superiority complex.
thehanyo 4,251
Just listened. Is this the second single off Bangerz? This is hardly a "banger"... Yeah. It's already number 2 on iTunes.
