What exactly are the current ratios for the chart? I remember when I think it used to be 45% digital sales, 50% radio and 5% streaming... now?

I really don't get why people think s-x dreams will do good. Why would radio play a song like that. They've played songs like it before. But the songs were sugar coated in a way

That's exactly what I'm thinking. I'm sure lots of people will like it, but the radio support would be poor. People bring up Blurred Lines and S&M but none of them are as explicit as SD (well S&M is much more explicit than BL but still less than SD). I thought MANiCURE was the telephone sequel, if it had beyonce in it it would slay.

It's different every week so Billboard can control the chart however way they want to.

ughh....not liking the fact that Gaga is getting red updates and everybody else is green except eminem......anyways, the promo next week will hold it for up for some time. please, let's pray for another good radio update tomorrow. we really need that radio.

I don't understand why people keep saying SD is explicit compared to songs like BL and S&M? Sure it's got s-xual content but specifically, what lyrics are there in the song that are any worse than "I'll give you something big enough to tear your ass in two" or "chains and whips excite me" etc? I can see how "making love in my s-x dreams" x572 could raise some eyebrows, but it's hardly got the potential to be offensive like those two other lyrics, or hell even "I wanna take a ride on your disco stick" and the rest of LoveGame. Just my opinion. I think it would be fine on radio.

My thoughts on the matter too, precisely. The only "explicit" word in that song is "s-x" - but honestly, it doesn't even count as one. Sex Dream is really tame compared to  BL and S&M. I'm sure it would do great on radio.
