i was just thinking, wouldnt it be AMAZING if gaga was #1 tomorrow, purely to shut those pressed ****ers up. one can only dream i guess :flutter: #delusional

i would die :deadbanana: i feel like we could have gotten a top five debut though if it wasn't for the leak and the hype was like it was for the BTW single.

.

They hate Madonna so much that they made a forum for hating her? Damn...

Yep. :fat:

Anyways, I'm glad this thread has been more positive lately! :excited2:

Before it looked like it could potentially flop, so for now I'm just content that it's in hit territory

Same.

Applause is the only song in the top 4 that didn't get a red update.

Wait so should Applause have a positive update tomorrow? or will it be negative again?

If she did one more TV promo spot before the VMA's, no matter how small, she's overtake the #3 spot just in time for the VMA's to start.

They just gave props to Mark, Lady gaga's dancer on SYTYCD! They said he should be her main choreographer. He had a crazy dance he choreographed. Awesome to have Gaga mentioned as one of the best people to choreographer for!

I think Applause will peak at #2. It could hit #1, but if it does, it will only be if Roar peaks before Applause does. Which might happen. Roar is very oddly having a similar run to BTW so far. Perched at the top of iTunes with a huge gap between it and #2, huge radio airplay, and seemingly front-loaded sales, which means that in 8 weeks it could be gone.

Unless, of course, Wake Me Up or something else cockblocks it. Which is likely. Regardless, Applause will be a hit, ad I'm really happy to see that. At this point I could care less if it hits #1.

Applause is at a steady state right now. And seems it'll continue for the rest of the week until the expected post-VMA surge.

I'm kinda hoping we get at least one acoustic performance of Applause. This seems like a really great song to make acoustic.
