Magoo, do you know if remix EP's give a considerable boost to sales during their premiere week, particularly for Gaga?

? A remix EP just counts as a separate album so won't do anything directly for the sales of the single.  But there are two indirect benefits I can think of (i) peeps may pick and buy individual remixes which will jack up the total sales of the single for the weekly charts, and (ii) DJs may play a remix in clubs causing it or the parent song to be bought.  How big the effect is though I don't know, but it will be interesting to look out for.

Oh, I know about the first part which is why I made a thread in this section instructing people to buy them separately, and word is spreading around twitter too. I just wanted to know if you knew the single sales went up a decent amount because of people purchasing the remixes separately. thanks tho. :)
