VforVendetta 2,024 Posted September 25, 2013 Share Posted September 25, 2013 People freak out about everything I swear Remember last week when Britney, JT, Bieber and Katy all released their singles and they all passed her at some point? Everyone was freaking out calling it a "flop" and saying the song was over and was going to fall out of the iTunes top 10 by the end of the week. People just need to learn to calm down and think over things logically. A reasonable response to a not-great pop radio update is "Hmm, this could be trouble if this continues over the next few days" rather than a lot of the responses I've seen in here . Its true, but that had something to do with that beeing her comeback performance and beeing naked. Yes, performances can help, but not with so much. I don't think people really pegged Gaga's performance as being outrageous or anything. The biggest effect was that the song was played to 10M people watching and people liked what they heard, else it would have quickly fallen out of the top 10 within a week or so of the VMAs. Big show, before it's big on radio, gives it a huge push. Little show, after massive airplay and use in commercials, maybe boosts it .02 for a day or two.
