I mean this album seems way catchier than BTW and if there will be a very strong 2nd single and a single with Riri ARTPOP will be able to sell lot more. But personally, I will be satisfied if the album has good music. I don't think sales reflect album's quality all the time. Look at 21 by Adele. The chorus and hook are amazing. The bridge is the best bridge she ever wrote. I'm here for it to be the last single of this era, I'm sure that it could be at least an Alejandro-sized hit, esp. in Europe :) Ready for y'all's stones.
