Americano

Big markets the last 24 hours:

#7 United States (+1)

#9 Italy (=)

#12 Australia (+1)

#13 United Kingdom (+1)

#18 Germany (+3)

#24 Spain (-5)

#24 France (-1)

#25 Japan (+1)

These numbers arent really fair. She's still Top 10 on the biggest digital platforms in Germany, Mexico shes Top 10 too. Also she just went top 10 in Japan this week, so that itunes number is skewed etc

(Im not blaming you). I just learned recently myself that itunes isnt the way to look at it in a lot of countries

Americano

I just noticed this from ATRL: Applause jumped from #26 to #9 on the Greek iTunes.

Shows how little itunes means in some countries that it can move so quickly

Maybe with Applause slowly rising in the US other countries will catch on as well.

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Gaga better sneak into the top 10 in Australia, that's the only major music market it hasn't hit top 10 (peaked at #11)

It wont happen unfortunatly she's already #14.... but at least the single will go platinum :)

VforVendetta

When you put it this way... but still, Alejandro is a much bigger hit and it's just iconic.

Alejandro is Gaga's biggest hit in many European countries including mine. Still Applause has impact that Gaga didn't have since BTW song. Even TEOG didn't manage to make a lot of impact here and that says a lot since TEOG is one of Gagas most iconic songs

Weekend impact. People waking up and buying the songs they heard the night prior/enjoyed. It happens every weekend for Applause which has been nice to keep her stable

One last time for those who havent done this. Sign up with e-mail, under Top 40, + say you like Applause.

Just A Holy Fool

Why do people even compare the #11 peak to her past peaks?

It has showed no signs of slowing down.

I think she'll peak somewhere between #6 and #8 on pop radio.... the competition is just too strong for her to go any higher than that.... unless it has Just Dance type longevity.
