Firstly you cannot just Ignore USA, just like you can't Ignore Latin America, Europe etc.. Bad Romance's Impact > Hips Don't Lie Poker Face as well + Gaga is already outselling her (overall) and It's definitely not because of the USA... Shakira has never been as big In Asia or North America or Australia as Gaga is and these are 3 continents, Shakira is slightly bigger in Europe and a lot bigger in Latin ... that's not that much u know+ Japan. Shakira was a huge force back than when people were buying physical CDs. Dont you think its much easier to sell digital single online for like $1 than a CD single for about $5-10 ? More people actually know who Shakira is, than who Lady Gaga is. Yes Gaga had more success with singles BUT Shakiras impact is bigger. WHat? Shakira wasnt big in the USA / Australia ?!
