Oricon only counts physical CD sales in its chart and it's fairly hard for Western acts to chart there. Applause was the only song on the chart by a Western act. There are people on here who didn't like applause and didn't buy it but are still fans, maybe people didn't like it. I just don't think she's lost that many fans. but thats just me.
