No idea where this song came from, but it's pretty clear that these kinds of songs are becoming their own genre of music on the charts. It's annoying enough having to listen to idiots talk about how all modern music is bad and that radio is trash without crap like this and The Fox filling up the charts. Applause fell on the Hot 100 and can only afford dropping two more positions before receding from the Top 10, and she's about to be 7 on iTunes. I'd like to her to see Applause through with a great back-end promo campaign, which seems to be on it's way beginning Oct 1 or move on soon. It's fallen out of favour with Aus + NZ markets it seems and doesn't seem to be sustaining in Asia. Her last promo outside the US + UK/France was the iTunes Festival.
