The weekend affect has been really strong. It goes hand-in-hand with her likely going #1 on the Dance/Club chart this week.

Does anyone know how they count remix bundle sales? If the remix EP has 5 tracks, does it count 5 times towards the sales of Applause? Or just 1?

well the good thing is that Applause is right now selling half of the sales of Royals and like 60% of the sales of Roar when 2 weeks ago was selling less :whitney:

Paper Gangsta

The gap up to Dark Horse halved in the last kworb update so Applause may get #5 in about 2 hours

can you post sales estimate 6/7

that's the difference btw the radio AIs of one song in comprasion of 7 days worth AI. Because kworb and mediabase and all site that are tracking radio spins and impressions usually track the praticular song for one week - 7 full days of worth radio playing. When one song is being released to the radio usually gets a lot of AI throught the first 7 days because in the most cases the label gets radio deal for that song or is the name of the artist is big enough the DJs are palying the song because it's hot and more people will want to tune and listen to the song. And throught those 7 days the song could gain massive radio support (see Applause's first update was 14m AI) which was the result from 6 hour radio deal + the fact that Lady Gaga released her new song. Applause was released on Monday which counts as day 1 of radio release and through the end of the week Applause was gaining a lot due to the reason I pointed above. And after the day 7 of the Applause's radio release comes that 8th day and that day goes to the spot of day 1 and day 1 gets erased and that spot comes day 8th and if the AI of day 8th is more or less than the AI of day 1 we will see positive or negative update on kworb. So when Applause gained 14m AI on day one and then when day 8th came we saw negative update of -10m AI that was because the song was no longer under radio deal and super radio support. And that's what rolling effect means the difference btw day 1 and day 8, btw day 2 and day 9 etc.

So WB get really good AI through it's 1st week and since 2nd week will come tommorow we'll see rolling effect because the radio will no longer support the song as it get support on it's release day :)

Thanks! :)

Ummm.. If you buy the remix songs separately each they count for Applause. If you purchase the EP it counts as an album and for dance/club charts I think! :)

One, you must buy each remix individually for 5 sales.

If u purchase the whole pack it will count as 1 sale but if you buy the 5 track individually it will count as 5 sales. So we should spread over here that will be better to buy the tracks separately not the full set.

I was thinking that some one should make a thread about that like one week before October 1st, it will help a lot. You should consider making a thread and pinning it like in the news section so the more people could now about this :)
