A Stan Was Born 670 Posted September 13, 2013 Share Posted September 13, 2013 Machete had a fairly big opening weekend last time, especially for a movie that had almost zero tv spots and trailer and was an indirect sequel to a box office failure. This time around it has so many more stars and hype. The movie will probably do fairly well. Gaga totally fits the over the top, camp atmosphere of the film, she'll be a perfect fit, even if her acting isn't the best (but I doubt that). The fact that she's also going to be in the LONG awaited Sin City sequel as well is also very promising for her career as an actress. That film is pretty much a given box office smash.
