The meltdown rate of this fanbase is so intense, like when we wake up there will be so many meltdowns cause im sure some radio station will do something really sh*tty to Applause that causes a red update and all hell will break loose. It only pushes your fave down another notch. Being one of big two in main rivalry is much better. Katy has radio, she ain't going anywhere for 3-4 weeks. Let it have its exposure to get ready for the second single. If the second single is good then Gaga will be good with the GP again.
