Tommymonster44 0
Wake Me Up deserves its iTunes position and radio updates. It's a good song. Can't necessarily say the same about Royals (especially), Roar, Blurred Lines, Berzerk, or Wrecking Ball. The fact that Royals is growing so much makes my stomach churn. What a ****ty, ****ty song. Royals is perhaps the best song to hit Billboard all year. I personally prefer it over Applause, even. The concept behind it is perfect, and it's got a wonderful production with great lyrics. Americano 31,061
Yeah, it's unfortunate that there are some songs that radio will shove down people's throats despite embarrassingly low digital sales and others they will ignore despite them selling well digitally. I think people must be crazy to want to hedge their bets on radio spinning the second single. Well what else do you expect? Fans to perpetually assume Lady Gaga is no longer a radio act? Marco 731
If radio won't play Applause they definitely won't play Sex Dreams. No point in rushing a single out that would do worse than its lead single. :trootea:

I don't see how constantly pulling singles whenever we don't like the radio updates would help that at all.

Tommymonster44 0
Born This Way didn't have enough singles. She promised 9. Nor did it have longevity. The era lost momentum after 5 or 6 months.
