I thought it would be now selling half of what's Roar is selling. The first day sees 1000 spins while the rest of the 6 days see 500 spin increase each and continues after the 6 days. Once the first 7 days has passed, the 1000 spins day is no longer included in the scale, so you see a -500 spin drop. That does not mean radio spins actually declined after the 7 days has passed... Spins only saw a -500 decline the day after the radio deal (from 1000 to 500). I don't know how else to describe the rolling effect Hope that made sense. Thanks you so much for this explanation! The comparison will not go away. I could even see Sara going on TV shows and performing the song. Her label sent it to Top 40 immediately after it started rising on iTunes due to the comparisons to Roar. I wouldn't be surprised to see them schedule her for a performance or two. I would really like to see it become a hit. She hasn't had a hit since King of Everything, I believe, and even that wasn't close to the success of Love Song. And Katy is guilty of so many cheap marketing ploys and sales gimmicks that it's hard to swallow. But critics and other people put Gaga on a higher pedestal than Katy, and they come after her harder for things like that, whether or not they're even her fault or doing.
