ratchetslut 0
They will, starting from Monday! let's be real... the music video isn't gonna do **** for her, nobody's gonna hear about it off of Gaga's name alone. the only people who will be watching it are Gaga's core fanbase - it won't get too many new people hooked on the song. the only thing that can save her at this point is the VMA performance

Magoo 6
I think the aim of Gaga/Interscope here is all focussed towards the album release date, and not the single Applause because of 1. making the album available by pre-order at the expense of itunes position of the single, and 2. choosing a single which does not appeal to the average listener too quickly. A worse strategy is to release a single which makes everyone buy it quickly, then after a few plays, people don't want to hear it any more - that would be bad for getting anyone to buy the album and for the chances of future singles. So, don't look too hard at how Applause performs immediately and what color Kworb is showing every 5 minutes in the US; but look at the bigger picture of the era as a whole, which lasts much longer. First of all have you ever heard of Bad Romance, We found Love etc? Bad Romance was out of the top 10 when the video came out... Secondly we don't expect only the video by Monday but a full radio deal and exposure.
