Rei 1
I don't get it, they spend 50 to 80 dollars on a concert ticket, yet not 1 dollar for a single srsly :grr:

alffy74 53
mark my words: katy will sell above 500k, close to 600 probably, and Gaga will sell close to 300k. Not surprising for either of them: Katy is still riding off her sucess with TD and confection singles, and Gaga suffering set back from BTW era and her disappearance from radio and GP eye for a year and a half. VasilisVas 5,134
But Katy's number seems low too, so it could be a slow sales week in general? Why? What's Katy's number?
Valextra 58
I can't understand why in USA where she is most popular than others countries, she's not arrived at #1. Where is the American fanbase? The song of Katy Perry is so lame... I really don't understand!

liquidsunshine 735
Blame it to whatever you want (ex- the rush release should only affects the first day sales, if indeed it has any impact) ; I just don't think the song is that good and certainly did not make me pee my pants like Tara said. Should have released Aura instead, gaga. It's the perfect blend avant-gardeness and contemporary pop melody.

diony381 1
Why didn't they count pre-orders? If you pre-ordered the album Itunes still charged you for Applause!

MelbHawker 6,583
That's great. When taking into consideration the rush-release, 'Roar' getting released just before it giving people something to jump on.. it's fantastic. Anyhow it's only just been released. It's radio-friendly, upbeat, getting VMA promo, Itunes Festival promo - it'll gain more fans and it'll sell more as time goes on. Just enjoy the music y'all! She's back
