Paper Planes

Rewatching her performance! It's really good! She only was a bit off vocally at then end but overall it was great!

This! I looked so much better after I watched it a second time! Only a little bit of the vocals were off during the choruses, but there was so much else going on that I can't blame her!

Gaga seriously can't win with this fanbase. Be lucky you got to see her perform on TV after 2 years

Gaga is actually getting positive feedback if you look at her trending topic on twitter. People seem turned off by Miley's and Kanye's performances.

One Five Ten

This is like literally the only award show where I give no **** about the award but the performances

Miley was absolutely horrible. The vocals, the attempts at twerking, the grinding on Alan's son. Just disgusting.

Americano

I think it's bizarre Gaga is looking back on her career after only like 5 years. Seemed a bit off and pretentious.

Have you stopped to think that maybe there was a reason she didn't include it?

Cause she hates Born this Way? Yeah, thats the only logical conclusion.

Causing adding another wig and another jacket would have been better than her Koons bowling ball thing.

Another thing we need to think about as a fan base - the idea of her out-doing herself.

The VMA 2009 was iconic for sure, but she has that performance, she did it, she will ALWAYS have that no matter what happens. Sometimes she isn't going to do things that come into your idea of "topping" what she's done before and if you always expect that of her you're going to be dissapointed. Be objective and think about whether the performance was good as a stand alone thing and accept that she'd going to change and do different things and people will react differently to them (I'm talking the puplic at large) because of where she is in her career. I understand that we will inevitably compare and look back to what she's done in the past, the performance did just that but it also ended with her bursting out as her future and THAT's what's important. No one can take away her previous records but if we go into everything constantly wondering whether it will be considered iconic in 20 years then we will run ourselves into the ground, Just enjoy it. It's fine if you don't like it, but be objective about it
