As soon as I heard it it felt very "classic", but also very glamorous, bright and colorful. Also, today Gaga spoke about ARTPOP and how it is an "Electro Glam" album, which has a feel of 70's through it's music. Not to mention my own obsession of the style of the "Space Age" and the funky costumes of the disco performers from the 70's.
