Tour dates to follow Applause or Artpop release?

After ARTPOP. In any case, I hope she announces them a whole lot faster than she did for the BTWB, that way the GP won't lose that much interest in her (and it will be less of a torture for us). It would be great if she announced them a week or two after the release date, that way she could boost album sales. And I'm 99.99% sure she will start the tour in North America this time because of the cancelled dates.

who will love me when the night is over

i think the ARTPOP era is going to be a long one and that, for a while, it will focus more on creating "experiences" the fans can actually be a part of. I think one of the missions during this era will be to attempt to create a kind of collective consciousness revolving around the ARTPOP project. Later I think the tour will come but I think it's going to be a while, and even then, I don't expect it to be a typical tour.  I think it's going to be more interactive with the audience, more accessible.

I agree with you, if the tour dates do follow the album they need to follow soon after. not 6 months after.

Hopefully they won't be released until months later. No way I will have money to get tickets until next year. And again I don't want to end up buying tickets from somebody selling them at double the price.

Sometime in 2014, and hopefully many months after the album is out. Album promo first, then focus on tour.

Okay, look you guys. I know many of you guys tend to think that Gaga will tour so many months after the ARTPOP release but realistically that is not the case. Just look at TFM. She headed to Canadian venues just DAYS affer TFM release. Many if you recollect the waiting tome between BTW release and the BTWB and automatically think that it has to be such a long wait, but if you look at that whole era, Gaga's schedule was such a mess. I mean, we waited nearly YEAR just for the first show. So do not be so easy to compare this tour to the BTW era's progression. And also, those of you saying she will wait a long time to tour ARTPOP because of marketing strategies and promotion, well.. Gaga has always made it a point to mention that she gives no ****s about the charts and whatnot. Sure, she has a team behind working their ass off for sales, but they would be able to market a huge tour any time, they really don't need to wait for anything.

Gaga has had a copious amount of time to prepare for the ARTPOP era as she has been in recovery mode, so you never know how much she has planned, most likely much of her next tour though. Also notice how she is so generous with releasing photos, lyrics and other info these days. She could be easily ready to release tour dates soon after the ARTPOP release. And that being said, I think it really is common sense that she will be releasing dates AFTER 11.11.13, not any time before. Why would she announce a tour before the album is even out?

So my prediction is that she will give us tour dates around December or any time closely after. I believe her first tour date will be in late spring or early summer. As she never finished the US leg, I am pretty sure she will begin East and make her way towards the West coast of the US, but with Gaga you really never know, she may wanna "save the best for last" or some crazy maniacal ****. What do you guys think?

She went on tour for The Monster Ball like a week after The Fame Monster was released. I think she might start touring in February with dates announced in December. The timing just would seem fitting. I don't know though.

How about a few weeks before the release of ARTPOP because the hype will be enormous? Also gives time for the christmas rush

It'd be better after the ARTPOP release, perhaps on Thanksgiving for a christmas boost.

I don't want her to do it after Applause.

For once, I just want to get material and be happy with it - and not have to be excited for something else. This year I'd rather exciting releases than tonnes of announcements to set up 2014.

Why would she announce a tour without an album for people to get excited about? Come on you guys, it's obvious we won't get dates til after 11/11
