Jake 0
But of course, Judas did it with like only two full days of availability. And with the presence of a strong competition in the form of the Britney-assisted S&M remix. Seriously. The fact that Judas, a song that was hated by many in the American public, was able to pull similar numbers to Applause's full week projection in two days really show how much she ****ed herself over. I knew it wouldn't be like 2011 but oh wow. It still feels like a dream.
Americano 31,061
I knew her black out was dragging on too long, the "15 seconds of fame" line is there for a reason. You can't just vanish for so long and then expect people to care when you come back, and it's really killing her now.
Karl 3,413
She's gonna get a huge hit in UK with the video and iTunes tho, and radio in UK is actually backing her. In the US radio is a different story. This is true, Radio 1 have her on B List which is amazing considering the fact they usually hate her, Capital seem to be playing her a fair bit too. Morphine Prince 106,042
Nobody was aware of this song though. It was mostly just the fans. And people DON'T LIKE HER. Especially in the US! People here think she's weird and hate her. They're too basic to understand Gaga

Bowie did the same, he followed his artistic vision rather than make catchy hits like he did at the start of his career, he never had that many hits, now he's a legend and respected

Klou 2,414
O thought we got some official projections Magoo is extremely smart. His projections are usually very accurate. The only thing is he can't project how many will be from pre-orders. Just know it will be more than 271K when we get the official numbers.
hausofmike 127
The BTW era is the major cause for the decline in sales. And the fact that its still an 80s sounding track... I bought it though. Too me it sounds like something is missing. It's lack of lyrical content is what's making me not like the track as much.
Klou 2,414
Hey well at least Applause rose to #15 on the Indie Streaming chart

I think it's more of her past mistakes haunting her right now, more so than Applause itself being rejected.
Morphine Prince 106,042
Gaga's fame peaked with TFM/Beginning of BTW. I'm accepting that and moving on.
kupo 201
If this can pull off a 300K week, I'll actually be quite pleased and comfortable with that given the less than perfect conditions surrounding its release.
Stef 61,598
Shes dropped to #4 in the UK behind Miley :( It gets better doesn't it ..... really don't what to think anymore. Honestly I've never questioned Gaga's relevancy up until now... Signature loading… 👹🖤
hausofmike 127
And radio isn't going to just pour huge support with applause right away. They haven't really liked anything since TFM excluding TEOG.
