I remember back in 2011 when I said katy is becoming bigger than Gaga and so many on her slammed me for it. Now I know I was right but I wish I wasn't. Just like my friend says "No bueno Perry, Viva la Gaga!"

Well hopefully this tragic event inspires her to do better next time, the song wasn't that great for a LEAD single. Jimmy Lovine can suck a cock

eh, the song was great. look who has the top spot: Roar. it is not about the quality of the song. it is about artist appeal. I would go with this logic if Katy's song was actually good. but it's the wackest **** she has ever released. even "thinking of you" is better.

but what if applause DOESNT have longevity? :udidnt:

what if roar will stay on top 10 as long as WFL did? :udidnt:

Ugh. I never thought that I would have to use the "Ignore" function.

I can't enjoy this thread anymore with all of your nonsense, regardless of the fact that you're just joking around. :nails:

I once said that Katy was on the same road as Madonna. Most actually agreed with me! I don't remember what I said, but it was something along the lines of Madonna making generic dance hits in order to establish herself as a radio powerhouse and then taking risks with her fourth album. Katy is probably doing the same thing. Establishing her radio support, the GP trusting her to make a song that they can like, and then taking risks later on.

Looks like I was right.

The GP doesn't even know what it wants. This song has been for sale for 2 days.
