The Stranger 4
But while a lot of fans love Aura, would it have fared any better though? It's more out ther than Applause, most of the reviews I was seeing was kinda negative and I already saw some sites already starting up controversy and criticizing her for "burqa" which is something she doesn't need for her first single in 2 years. she could remaster it
Dangerous Man 9,245
Any comments now that you've been proven wrong? Apology, etc? Applause got 3 red consecutive update. How could be it was only a glitch. ? but anyway i still need to say sorry. :( "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."

Klou 2,414
Applause is #16 on The Hype Machine, which is an Indie streaming service. Roar is not even in the top 50....

Freddy 4,421
All jokes and meltdowns aside, I think Applause can still go #1. It just won't be this week. More exposure + more radio airplay + music video + VMA performance + iHeartRadio and additional promo could push this song to the top. We just have to hold out and hope that it has longevity and that it catches on with the GP.
Ozzy8923 9
Gaga told us not to buy Applause in that video she released yesterday. She brought this upon herself.

Jake 0
I really hope Gaga isn't reading this thread :dead: In all seriousness Applause is SMASHING in nearly every country it's been released in. If she can just hold out until Monday hopefully she can smash in the US too.

Tera 2
The only thing that worries me is how gaga can take this. She is obsessed w fame and being in top. I hope she mentally prepared herself in case of flop. She doesn't care about being on top. And the "obsession with fame" is in a Warholian sense. Her tour will still sell much more than Katy's or any other pop star.
