Gaga will most likely outshine everyone with her performance and give Applause the bigger boost. I mean who hasn't heard Blurred Lines yet or from the GP bought it?

if every day keeps selling around 50k-60k by the end of the tracking week would be around 350+ k plus the additional sales from the album preorders let's say around from 100k to 160k that would lead us to total 500k + the streaming (the YT video got over 5m just in one day) by the end of the wee could be around 10-12 and let's say that 4M of them are from the US + the lyric video + radio this maybe a really good  top 3 debut (or top 5 in the worst case) and next week #1 is sure with the video premiering on GMA and the VMA etc.

so calm ur tits gallws it's going to be good ... in all honesty I like that kind of release + performance more than the BTW one I mean it shot right on the top it was #1 for six weeks, it broke the record for most airplay in one day and it failed to reach 4M mark  :emma:

I really hope that Applause will have longevity rather than intense start and then dicreasing like shooting star

It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely

About the #1 though don't be so sure. Roar and Blurred Lines will both be performed at the VMAs and the GP don't give a crap who sings the best. They may maintain their sales and block Applause from #1.

Honestly I can't imagine Blurred Lines gaining too many sales from the VMA's because its already so well known so I think most people would have bought it already

If gaga pulls another epic VMA performance like Paparazzi then she could smash the single to #1. If its like You and I then it won't do much to the song. She needs to show the public that she's back. She needs to make that connection that she did with paparazzi to music fans. I remember seeing paparazzi shoot up that night on iTunes and the radio.

I hope the lyric video gets banners and is something people will actually want to watch so she can stay at #2 until the actual video drops

Just requested Applause on Z100. Glad I can do it even if I'm from Romania. Ordered all the Romanian Little Monsters to do so

Which means that Roar already sold 200k.[/

Gonna be interresting to see how much streaming Gaga and Katy has. Gaga obviously have more total streams but maybe not in the US.

Don't you think that will Applause will have a weekend boost since it is a dance song? :hor:

Yes, she really has to outdo herself on the VMAS in order to make this single a chart bomb

It could have. It depends

I still think that only the next week will be Applause's week.
