It's not on track (yet) to sell over 600K it would need to beat Blurred Lines. Katy, on the other hand, is. Remember Gaga is a full day behind Katy AND she's selling less.

Not even Bad Romance went #1 upon release. I mean, it did really well as soon as it was released, just as Applause is currently, but it wasn't until the video that it really caught on. The same might happen to Applause.

We established that BR was a totally different situation, though.

Don't raise your expectations to high! I think it's gonna be more like 0.680

Sigh, well as long as it's increasing I suppose that's good enough :noparty:

Literally, if all of us here bought one copy of Applause on Amazon, it would probably go #1. lol.

We need some miracles rn. Like itunes will accidentally delete Roar.

Exactly.  C&GI, Cruise, and JGMAR are all ahead of it, so clearly not too many people are buying it yet... lol.

I'm talkin' 'bout forever, baby.

Why do you think so? BL is almost #4 on iTunes. This is what I expect at the end of the week :

- 400,000 copies sold

- audio 8 mil views

- lyric video 5 mil views

- radio 60m AI

This is more than enough for #2.
