I believe it, but want to read the article. I've been saying for weeks that the song would have to sell over 700K to debut at #1. Combined? Yeah that % is with the clean version added in. For fans that have been here since like 2009 like Jase and I, this IS very shocking or at least new for her to be struggling to go #1. i have been here since 2010 and i have to say that BTW had 2 years of hype, while applause was announced weeks ago. Also, applause is RUSH released. I bet most of the public doesnt know about it. give it some time please. It is already doing amazingly. Last time the #2 song is a weak release not by major artist, hence she was able to held an 90% lead over it. What is shocking is that pratically no monsters thought Katy Perry could do well, they must have forgot all of her last single went top 3 (6#1). But born this way was much hyped then applause and the release is really messy so not supprised she is not 1 yet. But just just wait until later today it will prob go to 1 when more people are awake. Roar is a new release from a major single artist Katy perry which has sent all her previous single (except 1) to top10.
