It seems as though she loses likes after she posts something then an hour later she starts gaining again until she posts something else.

03. Hold On, We're Going Home (feat. Majid Jordan) - Drake

I've been listening to this all day. I hope it does well.

Demons stalling in the 50s in iTunes since time immemorial isn't a good indicator. Too bad, I really want it to smash so hard.

As for Rihanna continuing her annual release, I'm guessing it would follow the same route of her last two albums. A #1 lead single that will tie her with Michael Jackson's HOT 100 chart leaders, another top 10 hit at the very least, mediocre album sales, and nothing else.  Not bad.

It's the "You da One" effect. Radioactive is still too strong for the next single to break through. Same thing is happening to Robin Thicke's second single.

I'm glad True Love is finally rising!

Rihanna is an outlier. Always is. She'll have a successful single and she'll sell lots of albums, but she won't have any effect on anyone else. She'll just continue living in her own little Rihuniverse.

But Unapologetic went platinum faster than TTT. She needs at least two hits per era

That's because she released a mid-tempo non-dance song and a ballad. Those types of songs sell albums a lot better than dance hits.  If she tries to bring dance back again this next era, it won't sell as well.

I really Train's new song "Bruises." I really wish we could get some variety back on the radio. There's tons of room, but with Blurred Lines nearing 300 million AI, seems like a lot of songs aren't getting a chance

I always love Rihanna's releases but she needs to take a good break and come back around this time in 2014 and smash. By this time, ARTPOP and Prism will be on their last singles (hopefully  :fan:) and she'll have the spotlight.
It was much easier for Rihanna to shine with Diamonds when Ke$ha was her only major competition.

Could it be possible she'll release a Best-Of album? If she did that, Rihanna could keep to her yearly schedule, still put out a single or two, but wouldn't have the same amount of pressure to do well.

A greatest hits compilation album is the most ideal for Rihanna, given all the smash hits she has amassed since the release of Umbrella. I could see a huge amount of people, aside from her core fan base, actually spending money on that.
