That's useless for this though, not only is there a loss in quality from recording from the audio output but it's still the same 128kbps stream you're recording.

 

This would be useful if sites like Offliberty didn't exist. 

 

This is good to know, so thanks. I don't rip audio streams very often so I don't don't know much about it and I wasn't aware of any alternative methods that could preserve the quality better.

There are a lot of YouTube rippers out there, but I don't know of any sites besides this one that can rip form SoundCloud.

True, but it's an improvement over having no download link at all.

Again, this isn't "ripping". It's just recording the audio output of your computer. Soundcloud streams at 128kbps, so even if you record it at 320kbps, it just ends up as an upscale with quality loss.

I know. A few of mine hit the limit and it's really frustrating.

Omg you know what you could do, though? Take the track down AND THEN REUP IT. the downloads will restart!

Or get another SC account attached to another email.
