Bebe 16,946
Oh boohooo, someone's gonna hold a rock because they think it will make them calm. Got a surprise for you: It will. It will actually make them more calm than any medication, with none of the side effects. When people start thinking a crystal is affecting their endocrine and circulatory systems, thyroid, heart and spleen like people claim Amber does it can be a problem. But the real fear is the promotion of alternative medicines in general. If people believe ****ing crystals are helping their heart and circulatory system what is stopping them from trying other forms of alternative medicines? Bebe 16,946
"a treatment" as in rocks and "health" as in feeling more calm. Nothing life-threatening here Like I just said to someone else. When people start thinking a crystal is affecting their endocrine and circulatory systems, thyroid, heart and spleen like people claim Amber does it can be a problem. mic 1,415
It is interesting, very strange but that's what we like in Gaga. Hahah no other popstar would post that on fb wall tbh, even do it. Watching it is empowering in some way, plus Gaga has very proportional body! SEANGT 4,979
Like I just said to someone else. When people start thinking a crystal is affecting their endocrine and circulatory systems, thyroid, heart and spleen like people claim Amber does it can be a problem. If people believe ****ing crystals are helping their heart and circulatory system what is stopping them from trying other forms of alternative medicines? I'm saying it's not even being called a medicine. What we are specifically talking about here are those crystals. It's just meditation. It's only helping you with meditation. Nobody is saying it affects any of your bodily systems. Jesus H calm down. Just stop PLEEEASE
Nervous Unicorn 440
It makes me sad to see everyone being so hateful. If you don't like it, there's no need to be so rude about it.

The promotion of pseudoscience in general as well as alternative medicines is irresponsible and dangerous. The only person getting mad here is you. Rainbowgynous 0
It is both irresponsible and dangerous to put your health in the hands of a treatment that has either not been proven to work or has been proven not to work. Not only is it unlikely to actually improve your condition but it can come with other negative side effects because it has not been properly tested. "a treatment" as in rocks and "health" as in feeling more calm. Nothing life-threatening here Couldn't have said it better. And in fact I'd dare to go further: I would recommend people who suffer from stress related inconveniences to try this before trying opiates, of course after checking with their "real" doctor for health risks that need attention. Not because it is more likely to work, but because it is less likely to damage them. If one is emotionally exhausted, burnt out or suffering from chronic stress, giving them things that end in -pam (for example) is proven to work... But it is also proven to have severe side effects and serious addiction risks. If holding a rock is going to help them let go of the stress or emotions that are bothering them, by all f*cking means PLEASE let them hold a rock. Of course they need to visit their "real" doctor to keep a check on things and make sure no immediate health concerns are the matter, but really... Placebo over poison tbh. (No offence intended to people who use these medications & for whom it works of course. Anything that helps is great!)

Sara 1,128
I'm a long time practitioner of meditation, and it does have real benefits. All the other things, like laying on crystals I'm sure doesn't have any magic power, but I bet it does stimulate your mind and body in new ways with new sensations, and those can have mental benefits of their own.Gaga is experimenting, pushing boundaries of everything, including her own mind and body! It's a little odd that she would choose to POST that publicly, but if you are going to commit to your performance with everything you are, then why not?
Mama Ru 994
It is both irresponsible and dangerous to put your health in the hands of a treatment that has either not been proven to work or has been proven not to work. Not only is it unlikely to actually improve your condition but it can come with other negative side effects because it has not been properly tested. But many things that have been "proven" safe and effective later turned out not so be. I think people are generally less likely to hurt themselves by meditating or touching a crystal than they are by taking d--gs and having surgeries.
