I was hoping Fiona to come back and put up a fight with unexpected twists, but instead I predicted it all as it was happening Asylum slays Coven. Oh, and the scene where Cordelia is talking to Myrtle about the Supreme obviously overshadows that Cordelia is the next Supreme. There are really long shots of Cordelia's head covering up a portrait of another supreme. The shots are kind of awkward, and her head is placed just right. henaub 191 Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 About the finale the only thing I loathed was Mistys dead, out of everybody she was the only pure, intact innocent soul yet she stays in hell. As a season I loved most characters except for Zoe, however their mood changes were not justified. There were also many holes left unanswered and what I disliked the most was the focus the younger characters had, I expect from AHS an adult show not a teenage drama For me it is Asylum> Murder House> Coven Even though my favorite characters are in coven and asylum. She's obviously a fan of the show and her dramatic acting is much better than her comedy. Plus a big guest star would be good for the show! But I loved that it was Delia and I loved the fact she went public with the coven. I think it was perfect. I would like the public thing better if it was handled differently, more built up instead of immediate. She goes from utter secrecy to protect themselves and then instead of building up to be more comfortable with the idea, she's immediately ok with it in the change of a scene. The feud between Salem Witches and Voodoo practicers was interesting and built up to be indomitable, but the feud was so quickly abandoned. The Witch Hunters were painted out to be a truly threatening antagonist, only to be killed with one flick of Fiona's fingers. So then they wrap things up by pretending the entire season was about finding a new Supreme - and frankly I wasn't left giving a **** about who was going to be the new Supreme. You can tell they were preoccupied trying to think of a way to turn Coven into a spin off, rather then developing the potential of the mini series. So many missed opportunities. Then again - what the hell do I know? In spite of its weak plot, I loved every super gay and astonishingly camp episode of American Horror Story: Coven. Patti Lupone forcibly douche her son and a morbidly obese African American chick flicking her clit for a minotaur were the highlights for me. Balenciagaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
