No one's criticizing her for doing it, we're just saying we could've been more satisfied. That's all

Muy bien post indeed.

At the end of the day, it's a bop so I'm not complaining; I love the song and will enjoy listening to it.

At the same time, the thing I've always loved about Gaga is how the producers she works with are so different with her. She creates something truly unique with them.

Aura/Burqa IS a unique song, but when you get into the EDM sections? It's classic Zedd/Infected Mushroom... it's not unique. It doesn't feel different. When Gaga worked with RedOne, she made RedOne amazing - would you guess that Scheisse was produced by the same guy that produced Live it Up? No. I could tell that this was Zedd (and Infected Mushroom if I bothered listening to them) from a mile away.

I want Gaga to produce something unique with the producers she works with; I don't want them to put their music onto her song. I want them to create something that is truly a collaboration, a unique collaboration that includes both styles.

:noparty:

But as I said, happy for the song to exist, because it's amazing.

:tea:

Anyway, the melody is all Gaga... And it must be the part that requires the most creativity, not the chords for the instrumental, I think.

If you actually involve yourself with the instrumental, it also takes a lot of creativity. :ohwell::fan:

:awkney: That's not true. The vocal lines aren't even that interesting if you take away the music.

ik i meant to put it like maybe they made the instrumental TOGETHER and they have just been playing it... instead of what people think and that she heard it and wrote Aura to the track... but who knows

That doesn't sound plausible at all...

Read my post up there.

Basically, Gaga has always had a large part of the creative process. As I say in my post, RedOne: Could you tell the same person made Scheisse as the person that made JLo's Live It Up? No, because Gaga makes something (up until now, it seems) truly unique with the person she collaborates with.

This is not unique, this is... A replica of their instrumental. Instead of making something truly unique with Infected Mushrooms, she has just taken their instrumental, therefore not putting herself into the instrumental of the song, only into the lyrics and melody.

I get what you are trying to say, but...

I don't care,

she is a lyricist first, then a producer.

I love this Aura demo.

We love the demo too! :) Well, I certainly do. She is still supposed to be a producer. This instrumental has not got her in it.

They are the producers alongside with Zedd, it was confirmed by Emma ;)

I love the vocal lines personally, but without the music... it's shouting in tune in the verses and a good chorus.

If the instrumental wasn't important she'd sing acapella, guys. So bear that in mind :usrs:

Well, if they helped produce, this isn't even a conversation worth having, lol. It's def. fine.

Ikr? Wtf is even this thread? :deadbanana:

I say we wait and see/hear what the album version is going to sound like

And I think saying this is "mostly" the same is a bit of a stretch. Part of the intro and first verse are directly lifted, but the chorus, while it takes hints from the IM original, has gone through a heavy facelift. The second verse is approached differently than the IM original, too. So, intro is greatly extended, the chorus is altered greatly, as is the second verse, a bridge is added for this song. It's definitely a sample, but Gaga didn't just lay vocals down over the track.

Oh for the love of June. This is a demo, and people are already pressed.

"The lyrics suck, the song sucks"

Gurl bye.

Some of us love it

This song is amazing. So what at her using the instrumental? I can't at some of you trying to discredit her, because she sampled ONE song, and now suddenly "she's not involved in the creative process."

Get real :lmao:

Well, no, she just made it pop song friendly and changed the structure.

For clarification: I LOVE the song, so don't you even dare to come at me trying to paint me as a negative person who has nothing positive to say about her. Read my (and others') posts with care, please.
