As a muslim, this song is amazing and uplifting, I'm not a wandering slave I am a woman of choice My veil is protection for the gorgeousness of my face, honestly wow. For the first time a major popstar has acknowledged the religion of islam and shown its beauty. She has acknowledged the purpose of the burqa. It's not just because a husband or father has told you, that rarely happens, its a choice for women to cover up their beauty and keep it for the ones they love i.e their family. The part when gaga says do you want to see me naked, do wanna peak underneatht the cover is exactly what society wants, they want to see what muslims are covering up but they can't because she wears a burqa, protection from evil.
