This all looks like very routine legal procedure to me.

 

In trying to make a case in court, a party will often try to bring up confidential information of other parties claiming it is relevant to their case (here being the details of the settlement between Fusari and Gaga), and the process (often demanded by the terms of such settlement agreement) is for those other parties to set about keeping that information sealed and away from the public.  The application to do that will always contains words such as 'cause irreparable damage' whether it actually would do or not.

Why are some of you pressing on the fact that she doesn't want something to be revealed to the public? I get that it's interesting, but seriously. If she doesn't want anybody to know, then leave it at that.

Really? I'm surprised by this. I think it was totally honest and totally intentional for her to come across this way during The Fame Era. She didn't know at the beginning of her career if portraying herself a certain way would work in her favour; it was either going to make her into something bigger, or fall flat on her ass not having achieved anything. It's why she took over and why it was so brilliant. That's why she is brilliant. Because she's really not herself at all. But at the same time, she is. TFM saw her become even more attention seeking in every aspect of her persona. BTW saw her become some else. Her accent as of late has been very forced. But that's what makes her genuine IMO. I guess it comes down to how you feel about it - whether you personally enjoyed it or not.

Her accent has been all over the map since she started.

But to me, there's something about the fame era Gaga and the sound of the the Fame album that is very much a playful mischievous little girl, even her voice on interviews and her voice on early declarations had an innocence and a soft "ingenue" wonder to it. She was demure and matter of fact in interviews, and very gentle, almost docile with press. Yes, she'd say the oddball thing here and there that gave hints of her outspokeness to come, but she had not yet evolved into the Free B*tch or the defiant Born This Way superstar.

It was as if she was still a talented teen with just a fancier wardrobe (oh yeah and 3 or 4 Number Ones on the charts!)

I mean sure she would say some of the most eyerolling things, but it almost fit in with her youthful innocence and her desire, childish or not, to believe so hard in this gigantic machinedream she was spinning for us all to the beat of her music.

Does anyone else get what I mean?
