Gaga Tweets New Applause Lyrics

Loving the lyrics.

From the look of it, she's going to a lighter lyrics approach this time instead of being symbolic and metaphorical. She's really after the GP (we all know how the GP reacts with metaphors. I'll cite Judas as an example. They don't get it.) We might still get some metaphors though.

But even though it is sort of light, the meaning is still deep. I swear Gaga could only pull that "bang the gong!" phrase. Who even thinks of it whilie writing lyrics? Only Gaga tbh.

Loves it

It's my first post, so hi everyone!

About the lyrics - I love how simple they are; not stupid, generic, but simple in the most positive way. We have to remember that Gaga was never too poetic, and even her more ambitious lyrics like The Edge of Glory or You and I are, once again, very simple, yet intelligent.

Something tells me that this new part of lyrics is the hook. Can you image that? Can you hear it? :)

Hello, and welcome! Gaga doesn't tend to go too deep in lyrics, at least for singles. Best example for a single, I think, is Judas. And look how people digested that lol

Much better than the last lyrics.

I talked about "gong" and "wrong" ;)

"bang" and "gong" aren't supposed to rhyme though

And it's actually a really nice reference, not sure what you're talking about.
