I personally enjoyed the 2011 performance. It's not in my top 3, but it was good enough. But I do understand why people don't like it.

 

I think the promo looks great, and I like that they talked about it being a new song so that the GP is aware.

I noticed some of you are saying the promo is very boring and short but remember that they are trying to remind the GP that Gaga is not dead lol. They had to recap her past performances and inform the GP that she has a new song coming out.

If she closes she can snatch the weaves of the previous performers and mtv receives great ratings but I don't think it matters. If she opens the show fans are still going to watch to see what she wears and if she presents some awards
