A lot of people (including my parents) said I shouldn't get my ears pierced, but I didn't care. I got them and I love them. They're an extension of my personality, just like my glasses, my hair, and my clothes. If someone wants to modify they're body, let them. I mean I personally don't find excessively tatted and pierced people attractive, but I respect their choices (unless they got drunk and got a Mickey Mouse tattoo, because that meant they absolutely had NO real prior thought to it). It really sucks when people have opinions that you don't agree with but unless it's something incredibly damaging (i.e. the opinion that all men are evil, or the opinion that women should be subjugated etc) it's best just to let it slide so that you don't get caught up in ****. If you're happy about some news in a thread, then post your response and celebrate it with other people who agree with you. Perhaps she's just recreating her lifestyle before The Fame in an amp up to her "re-debut." Again, cleaning the slate.. Out with the old, in with the new. She's somewhat killed off the Gaga of old.
